Exciting News! In January 2024, the TIBCO Community site will be enhanced and separated into several additional community sites to better meet our customers’ and site users’ needs. Details about these changes - and why you care - are listed below. And while there will not be a change to the TIBCO Community site address (community.tibco.com), you can expect to see changes to functionality and content. We will keep this page updated on what those changes are.

What is TIBCO Community Site?

The TIBCO Community site is a collaborative space for site users to share knowledge and support one another in making the best use of TIBCO products and services. The site allows users to engage in discussions, review article content, ask questions of product experts, provide product and other feedback, and generally enhance their technical knowledge of our offerings and support materials such as connectors, templates, accelerators, and other extensions. This site is a key digital communication channel for the organization and as such, it is being administered by the Marketing organization. In this way, we can ensure alignment between branding, messaging and general organizational “voice.”

Why the TIBCO Community site is segregated into multiple community sites? 

There are several reasons why we’re updating the current TIBCO Community site while also separating content into several other, BU-specific community sites.

  • There have been several changes over the last year to the Business Units of Cloud Software Group resulting in several different BUs that were originally part of the TIBCO BU. The TIBCO Community site has been adapting to these changes. However, the ibi, Jaspersoft and Spotfire content - in addition to TIBCO content - is all located in one community site. This results in a cluttered and chaotic site, which is no longer serving the information to the users in a streamlined way. 
  • The old community site platform- Salesforce Experience Cloud, has been retired. The new sites will be built on a new platform - Invision. We’re using this platform transition as a forcing function to enhance the user experience, as Invision has new capabilities our previous site provider did not.
  • The new site platform - Invision provides users with a better, more streamlined experience, and it allows us to provide enhanced capabilities to content contributors and other groups.

Who cares and why?

All users of the Community Site will benefit from the changes mentioned as we provide a more streamlined, TIBCO-specific viewing and content experience while also allowing for knowledge-sharing and engagement-with-the-experts.

Site users include:

  • Internal users such as TIBCO employees in Product Management, Product Marketing, Engineering, Support and Sales who provide content to the site or monitor customer feedback and communication threads. 
  • External users, mostly Customers and Partners, who ask questions on the site, contribute to communication threads, or generally seek product information from the site.
  • All users of the site will benefit from the site changes as we provide a more streamlined, TIBCO-specific viewing and content experience while also allowing for knowledge-sharing and engagement-with-the-experts.

Site users will also be able to experience exciting rewards & badges through gamification. This encourages more frequent and in-depth engagement on the community site. Examples of rewards & badges:
